Overview"""It's In Your Blood"" is the recollections of a doctor and a medical scientist who were involved together during the rise of clinical pathology from obscurity to its important place in modern medicine. It traces the development of pathology from the days when tests were done by hand - that are now performed in sophisticated electronic machines. Part memoir, part discussion of the techniques of pathology, ""It's In Your Blood"" is full of fascinating details of pathology and its history, procedures, advances, impact upon the development of modern medicine, and in particular its history in Newcastle.
