Author Information

"George Zarr is an award-winning writer, producer, director, and composer based out of Chicago. He was most recently at Sirius Satellite Radio, and he was also cowriter, producer, and director of the comedy series Visit New Grimston, Anyway and the international award-winning Little Chills horror series, both in the collection of the Museum of Television and Radio in New York City. Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875) was a Danish author and poet most noted for his children's stories and fairy tales. The conversion of many of his stories into Disney films has ensured his continued popularity. The Brothers Grimm, Jacob (1785-1863) and Wilhelm (1786-1859), were German academics, linguists, cultural researchers, and authors. They are among the most well-known storytellers of European folk tales. Clement C. Moore (1770-1863) is an American scholar and poet who is best known for The Night Before Christmas, which was originally published anonymously as ""Account of a Visit from St. Nicholas"" in The Troy Sentinel on December 23, 1823. Charles Dickens (1812-1870) was the most popular English novelist of the Victorian era. His many books include Oliver Twist, Great Expectations, and A Christmas Carol."
