It's About Time is a play about a time travel adventure that may have already happened, or quite possibly will happen in the future. A group of African American military scientists travel back to events taking place during the slave trade and the historic events that follow, and are faced with a difficult decision that could change the lives of hundreds of millions of people. Will they make the right decision? This updated bonus edition features The Sunday Morning Church Announcements, a comedy monologue. In many churches across the country, the Sunday morning church announcements are not only listed in the bulletin. They are also read to the congregation, often with great flair, comedy and drama. Imagine yourself sitting in church one Sunday morning, eyes glued to the front, as the church clerk prances to the 'stage' and reads the Sunday morning church announcements. Be ye prepared! Another addition, The Journey, is a short story mystery. It really was a cold, dark, snowy night when this mystery took place. A young girl and her family take a trip along high winding roads in the mountains of Virginia on Christmas Eve. Excitement turns to fear, followed by a sense of relief, and finally to mystery and wonder. They would forever wonder what happened.

Ola Wright grew up in the beautiful Allegheny mountains in Covington, Va. After graduating from Va. State University, she moved to New Jersey where she was an educator for more than 25 years. During that time she also raised a family, was active in community activities, and earned an advanced degree from Kean College of N.J. Now in retirement, Ola spends her time traveling, playing in bid whist tournaments, line dancing, and generally staying active. This includes a return to what was once simply an enjoyable hobby but is now a serious pursuit, writing. History has always been a fascinating area for her as has science fiction. The two come together in the play, It's About Time.
