It's About Time

Overview

Tired of the same old crap? Comrade, join the revolution. It's flower power for the 21st century. F**k Wittgenstein and screw Schopenhauer. Howard Venze tells it like it is in clear concise language. Let's delve into the deepest subjects of time, identity, language, the nature of evil and other philosophical problems. Guided by Marshall McLuhan and Julian Jaynes, we'll take a look at Descartes, Ramana Maharshi, Putnam and Avicenna, then ask, What is the sum of their cognition? Check out the proof for God's existence. Are there any holes? This is the manifesto of spiritual communism. God is the Totality of All of this; God is a collective state of mind in this Reality we all share. So wake up and join the Revolution! The truth as far as spiritual practices go is, that which is timeless does not take time to be realized. So share what I have learned. Maya is measurement. Space is a measure of itself. Space has a reality to it. Time as duration is counted. Time might be reality, but it does not exist. It's what we hang our thoughts on. It's You, the idea of you.

Author Information

Howard Venze began the practice of yoga at a young age. Inspired by spiritual literature, novels and Mad Magazine, Howard formed the idea he wanted to get enlightened while a teenager. He figured having a teacher was the way for him. He reached that goal in 1992 while meditating with the spiritual teacher Leslie Temple Thurston. Howard has worked as a chiropractor and a nurse. After retiring from nursing, Venze has written two books, meditates often and is developing an effortless yoga, safe for geezers.
