This was a wonderful book telling the nativity story simply. The pull-outs and pop-ups were irresistible to three year old fingers and we were entranced by the star and the angel making them appear and disappear many times. Sophie Piper has an excellent reputation as a compiler of children's prayers books, which include Prayers for the Very Young, Goodnight Prayers, and Prayers for a Better World. Emily Bolam studied illustration at Brighton College of Art. She has illustrated over a hundred books for children, by many different authors, including Georgie Adams and Francesca Simon.
