Louis De Fusco was born in Providence, R.I. He grew up in a neighborhood that was on the fringe of the mafia. He actually worked as a young boy in card clubs run by the mob. Future candidates often came from these clubs. He decided to go into music in an effort to get away from the lure of easy money. He went on to have three careers, music, television and real estate construction. He now resides in Modesto, Ca.
