Overview

This new book series of three, is one that compliments and extends It Was a Crystal Clear Night, but follows a different path. It still contains poetry and commentary, but this time contains scripture as well. Scripture has a way of unfolding in the lives of Christians that often reveals new revelations on the same piece of scripture. The Bible surprises us that way, new meanings, reflections and corridors of learning. Within that surprise still comes faithfulness to what the Bible is all about: teaching and guiding; inviting us to new appreciation of the acts of our God as He involves Himself with His beloved creatures. Love and patience manifests itself repeatedly throughout the whole of the Bible. The Bible is a concerted whole, applicable to not only revealing God's plan, but in giving us a guide. There are twenty-seven different topics addressed in the series. There are not only commentaries, but poems as well, directing the reader to consider and reflect on: a work to glorify God, pronounce the importance of His plan, amplify the Greatest of our Lord, Jesus the Christ, and bring to a better understanding of the mystifying Holy Spirit.

Thomas William Montgomery has written several books under the Amazon publishing arm of CreateSpace. He has lived a rich and varied life that vocationally has included: psychologist, professor, minister, therapist, crisis worker/Field Supervisor, advocate, parent, Spiritual Advisor, consultant, expert witness, combat medic, survivor of PTSD and combat-related injuries (to included Agent Orange Poisoning), survivor of divorce and now happily married, and terminally afflicted from the AOP. He has worked with children, teenagers and adults throughout his life. In addition to his professional careers, he has been a pilot, a WSI and professional lifeguard (to include teaching over 2,200 people from babies to adults, including severely mentally disabled non-swimmers-taking them to competition in Special Olympics), as well as successfully performing numerous swimming rescues. Even before his career started he was involved with Special Olympics until he ended his first two full careers and became a minister. He was a two-term member of the KASP Executive Board for Kansas. He is CPR Certified, was a head coach in soccer (High School and with three competitive teams), as well as a USSF Official and Instructor. Added are: amateur astronomer, competitive sailor, photographer, film critic, CISD for police and firemen, ambulance driver/medic; creator of a suicide hotline, advisor to SRS, lead interviewer in child sexual abuse cases, hospital chaplain, parachutist, and co-creator of a personality inventory. He invented a GPS locator schedule for the Sheriff's Office, was creator of the first Kindergarten ""Round-up"" for a school system, developed a Crisis Intervention protocol for a school system, was a mentor to practicum school psychologists, served as an instructor/presenter at numerous workshops on a variety of topics, including being a Keynote Speaker at assemblies; has been a EFM Mentor to Christians, was actively involved with Cub Scouts, and served as a Camino Spiritual Mentor. He created and taught a popular night course for PSU on stress management. He has enjoyed a variety of other personas, nearly all curtailed by his afflictions. He now enjoys writing stories and poems, and traveling with his wife making memory events. He even has taken some college courses (which now are free). He is blessed with many grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He gives much praise and eternal gratefulness to the Holy One who had rescued him.
