Rita Hemby is a freelance writer presently residing in Florida. A native of North Carolina, she is a Licensed Practical Nurse by trade and has served in various capacities for over two decades in fulltime pastoral ministry with her husband. In addition, she has spent extensive time in the land of Israel helping to guide study-abroad and church tours. When Rita is not writing, she enjoys reading, traveling, oil painting (is a certified artist), home mural creations and spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. She has a passion for cooking and often combines this with a love for entertaining family and friends. Her favorite authors include Anne Graham Lotz, R.T. Kendall, and Corrie Ten Boom.
