This book is yet another interesting and informative work by the author, Al-Hajj Mekaeel Maknoon. It identifies and explains, in outline, the Divine Scheme behind the realm of The Other World (Al-Akhira) and, should any member of the human race, and jinns, fail the compulsory Divine test the two races were required to take, the position of 'The Related or Connected World (Ad-Dunyaa). It is against that backdrop that the book details the nature, position and purpose of the human race, within that Divine Program. This effort by the author illuminates the existence of the Journey , and its course, that has been divinely pre-ordained for humans and jinns. The Holy Qur'an is the primary source of information. It is a powerful resonating call that seeks to awake the human consciousness, and compel people to become disciplined, profound and balanced in their judgement, to re-examine their earthly value, and to strive earnestly and sincerely to be steadfast a regards their trust and confidence in the Creator. Al-Hajj Mekaeel Maknoon is an advisor to the London Islamic Cultural society and a well known and accomplished propagator of the Belief in Allah and the Islamic Way of life. He is also the author of The Universal Significance of Adam; The Real essence of Hajj and The token of Time (Al-'Asr). He retired in 2005 as a Property Lawyer and the Legal Manager of the United Kingdon's London Borough of Haringey's Housing Supply Group. He has since functioned as an Imaam in Jamaica, West Indies, and a Supreme Court Mediator and Mediator Parish Manager in that latter country.
