Author Information

Dr. Giovanni Concistrè is currently a cardiac surgeon at the Ospedale del cuore “G. Pasquinucci”, Massa, Italy.  He received his Degree cum laude in Medicine at Perugia University. His interest in research on ischemic disease developed and in October 2009 he got a Degree cum laude in Cardiac Surgery at Genova University. In 2010 he worked at Department of Cardiac Surgery and Heart Transplantation of San Camillo Hospital in Rome and subsequently he became Assistentarzt at Deutsch Herz Zentrum in Munich and at Klinikum Nurnberg, Germany. From February 2013 to April 2014, he worked at Clinica S. Anna in Catanzaro, Italy. Dr. Concistrè is the author of numerous publications in scientific journals and has always been interested in sutureless aortic bioprostheses, presenting also numerous works at international conferences. Since May 2014, he has been cardiac surgeon in Massa, Italy.
