'Having already read Tottie Limejuice's first installment about her move to France in her book Sell the Pig and thoroughly enjoyed it, I felt sure that her second book would not disappoint and it didn't! Is that Billinge Lump? picks up where the first book finished, with Tottie settling into life in France, caring for her very elderly mother and coping with the sometimes difficult visits from her brother. Reading a good memoir, which this is, is rather like receiving long letters from a friend, who is revealing their life to you, warts and all. You laugh, scream with frustration and also cry with them. You re-live those highs and lows through the flow of words on the page and Tottie's words do flow rather well, with no unnecessary detail to clutter and detract.' Retired journalist, freelance copywriter and copy editor Lesley Tither writes under various pen names for different genres. Already well known for travel memoirs as Tottie Limejuice, Lesley also writes crime fiction (the Ted Darling Crime Series) under the name L. M. Krier, and children's fiction as L M Kay. Sell the Pig is the first in a series of travel memoirs describing how Lesley, writing as Tottie Limejuice, decided to make the move from the UK to France to start a new life, taking with her an 89-year-old mother suffering from vascular dementia. The story continues in four further books, 'Is That Billinge Lump?', 'Mother, Was It Worth It?' and 'Biff the Useless Mention', book 5 in the 'trilogy' (you need to read the books to get the joke!). There is now a sixth book, Trot On! from the same author.
