Reviews

The O’Brien Press is really setting the standard for picture books: for reasons of space, we will here limit ourselves to Ireland’s Islands by Carsten Krieger and Richard Creagh. This sublime photographic journey around the Irish coast is something special. The photos are gorgeous; accompanying text gives context on the islands, beaches, villages, history and wildlife. It’s a feast for the eyes and a balm for the soul -- Irish Independent a lovely book … a lovely Christmas present for somebody if they love photography and wildlife … There’s something mystical and magical about islands … gorgeous -- The Saturday Café on WLR FM
