Author Information

Mazen Al-Khatib is an associate professor in the department of electrical and computer engineering at the University of South Alabama. He has been teaching numerous courses on computer engineering, advanced networking, wireless communications, and internet protocol television (IPTV). Mohammad S. Alam is a professor and chair of the department of electrical and computer engineering at the University of South Alabama. His research interests include image processing, pattern recognition, biometric recognition, infrared imaging systems, ultrafast computer architectures and algorithms, digital system design, and smart energy management and control. They both live in Mobile, Alabama.
