Reviews

Overall, this is an excellent new edition of Petritsi's magnum opus. It can even be called a breakthrough in so far as it enables Western readers for the first time to gain access to this hitherto hidden corner of medieval philosophy. The book will be of benefit to all those interested in philosophy and, more particularly, in the medieval Neoplatonic tradition of Eastern Christendom. -- Levan Gigineishvili, Ilia State University, Tbilisi, Georgia, in The International Journal of Platonic Tradition 4 (2010)
