He does not seek an escape from the labyrinth, because beyond the walls of its maze there is only void and death. He must press onward. At the labyrinth's centre is the well of pure clean waters, and a door. Is the labyrinth a place? Is it marked on the map? Crossing the threshold of the door is to step out into the wilderness realms, where Gods and angels and devils abide. There is no turning back now that we are here. Momentum pulls us on into elsewhere. Now shall we reap that which we did sow. The Tao is harmonious and tends to growth. The motivation of the universe is towards perfection. Only a will towards harmony could result in the endless structures of intricate and perfect patterns which we see in all the universes. If the universe were motivated towards chaos instead of perfection, and if the Tao was disharmonious and tending towards decay, then the universe could never have attained its perfect form. It would have collapsed in upon itself long ago, because that is where tendencies towards chaos, disharmony, and decay would lead. If the Will of God is to destruction and death then all life ceases. Thus we know that the Will of God is towards love and light and harmony, or else he could not be God. It is pure logic and therefore we can claim it as a Stome.
