Reviews

Drew writes as a friend who knows what it means to draw near to Jesus through the hard seasons, reminding us of how the Savior sees us, loves us, strengthens us, and walks with us through them all. -- Adam Ramsey Drew writes from a place of experience—a trusted guide who has been through the fires of heartache and returned to share wisdom to all who will hear.  Rather than burying the pain of the past, he encourages us to face it fiercely and find the One who walks with us through our darkest valleys. -- AJ Sherrill This book will be my first recommendation and go-to gift for loved ones in my life who find themselves facing the painful reality of invisible grief. Thank you, Drew for this special resource! -- Nicole Zasowski Far from trite superficialities, Invisible Grief offers soul-comforting truth about the Suffering Savior who loves you and assures you that though others may not see your heartbreak, he sees it all. -- Elyse Fitzpatrick Drew Hensley writes with raw honesty and deep pastoral wisdom, offering the kind of empathic presence that gives language to lament and makes space for healing.  -- Chuck DeGroat Sometimes grief and pain are so deep that we want to run from it. Drew Hensley, in this refreshingly honest and life changing book, says that we should go there anyway. Why is that? That’s because that’s where God meets his people … in the dark places. This is a profound book that changes everything about the places we all lament. Read it and share it with everyone you love! -- Steve Brown
