Overview

I've been working in finance for over 20 years now, and I have noticed, to my great consternation, that the vast majority of people still don't understand the Game or, at the very least, how the game is played. I consider myself a finance freak; I eat finance for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and as a snack at night before bedtime. I even sometimes secretly get up during the night to eat some more. In the past, I've been fortunate enough to come across a multitude of articles and books that have inspired me to the highest degree and made me a better investor. Books such as The little book of Behavioral Investment by James Montier, Open letter to irresponsible investors by Andre Gosselin, The Wealthy Barber by David Chilton, The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson or Security Analysis by Graham & Dodd. These books are, in my opinion, a must for anyone serious about mastering the art of investing. If you're not the type of person who is passionate about finance and reading the three lines of economic news that your smartphone force-feeds you everymorning is enough to make you feel nauseous until lunchtime, then this book is for you. I understand that you probably have better things to do than read 5000 pages of financial theory and that even if you do have the time, indigestion will hit you long before the end of the 100th page.That's precisely why I wrote this book. What I'm offering you here is just the candy and none of the veggies. I offer you the punch of the movie before the end, the final score before the game.
