Author Information

John Benson began his financial career in 1983, training with Merrill Lynch in New York, N.Y. and San Antonio, TX. He started as a Financial Consultant (Stockbroker) in the Merrill office in San Antonio and began teaching adult education classes on investing. Mr. Benson became Manager of the Investment Services Department for a regional financial services firm and continued to teach investing concepts and steps to becoming a successful investor. In both classroom lectures and televised educational programs, he takes complex concepts and breaks them into elemental blocks for easier comprehension.
