Overview

Intuitions Book of Poems is a book that took four years to write. I wrote this book after my mother passed. I hadn't done any writing in twenty-two years. Once I started writing I wrote three books in ten years. Intuitions was one of the three conceived. I have a total of six books completed. I only write when I'm inspired.

My name is Karl Kevin Smith. I was born and raised in East St. Louis, Illinois. I am a proud by-product of the educational system of District 189. I was blessed to have some of the most brilliant teachers in my schooling years. English teachers such as Ms. Hunt and Ms. Dillard at Lansdowne Junior High School. Ms. Adams at Clark Junior High School. Mr. Logan at East St. Louis Senior High School. I just would like to thank these teachers for enhancing my life.
