Reviews

'This is a highly usable resource for all those involved in supporting individuals in accessing, returning to or staying in work. Although it targets the core practitioners in Vocational Rehabilitation, this book is also highly relevant to non-core practitioners. The author's broad range of experience gives him a unique perspective, providing a clear and comprehensive account of the development of a multi-faceted process for VR. This book will assist practitioners in understanding both their own role and the roles and contributions of others...The identification of key issues and learning outcomes at the start of each section, with the challenging and pertinent student questions at the end of each section, make for a structured learning resource that most practitioners in this field should be able to apply to their own context.' -- Christine Parker, University of Salford, UK 'This book is a really excellent overview of the state of vocational rehabilitation in the UK. Clive Langman has drawn heavily on his extensive experience as a practitioner and his impressive scholarship, which has made it possible for him to provide a comprehensive review of the literature.' -- Mike Floyd, City University, UK
