Author Information

Rabbi S. Creeger's formal education includes an associate degree in nursing from Prince George's Community College; a certificate in Messianic Studies, bachelor's and master's degrees from Messianic Bureau International Yeshiva (MBI); and a Bachelor of Jewish Studies from Baltimore Hebrew University. She was ordained as a Messianic minister in 2000 and then rabbi in 2002 through MBI. Rabbi Creeger served MBI as a teacher, in the office of vice president, and as a member of the advisory board. Rabbi Creeger has been active in several fields of ministry, serving as counselor and prayer minister in various jails, detention centers, and prisons in the Balt-Wash metro area and to returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan in VA hospitals (including Walter Reed) and VFW sites. She has also served as hospital chaplain in Cecil County, Maryland. She and her husband Boaz founded Messianic congregation Beit HaTorah in 1997, and they now maintain a Messianic presence in India and Africa, providing for congregational leaders and the people under their care with educational and training materials and providing financial support for food, clothing, shelter, and medical expenses. These outreaches include orphan care, including the Hadassah Orphanage in India. Rabbi Creeger may be contacted through her website: www.beithatorah.org
