She is the owner of Spruce Ridge Studios, featuring original primitive rug hooking patterns and a wide variety of rug hooking supplies. Kris has won many awards for her rugs, including three appearances in the prestigious annual competition, Celebration of Hand-Hooked Rugs. She writes for Rug Hooking magazine and teaches at many workshops and rug camps across the United States and England.
