Shiva Sukula is currently Assistant Librarian at the Central Library of the university discharging the duties of administration and management of Central Library and management of overall Internet infrastructure and services for the Charan Singh University, Meerut since 2004 Simultaneously she is a guest faculty at Department of Library and Information Science, Charan Singh University, Meerut since 2004. Quite notably, she has been instrumental in library automation at the University. After graduating with a Masters in library and Information Science from the University of Lucknow in 2000 with first position in order of merit, Dr Sukula went on obtain her Ph.D. Her professional competency involves integration of new information technologies into library and information services towards development of net worked information services and implementation of active information literacy programs for enhancing close interaction and active usage of web resources and library services for providing high quality services to end-users.
