I have taught this class in excess of 10 years and this is the textbook I have used for 9 of those years. I have not found a textbook that is as comprehensive and direct as this. The concepts are clearly explained and illustrated. I particularly like the application modules spread throughout. I think [the author's] writing style is very clear and appropriate for college students. [The author] uses examples which are very relatable and help students understand the concepts. They are also fun to act out in class, which is another activity my students enjoy to both get out of their seats but also better understand the topic.
