Overview

The main objective of this book is to provide an elementary introductory guidance in Aeronautical Sciences for students and other researchers interested in this area. Some important facts for the understanding of Aeronautical Sciences are presented, including historical data and elementary notions that involve flight in the Earth's atmosphere. Thus, it is expected that the reader can understand the main bases that are objects of studies in Aeronautical Sciences for further deepening through classes or through other specialized literature. It is also expected the production of new bibliographies aimed at the improvement of Aeronautical Science itself from this work. It is a starting point for the subject Introduction to Aeronautical Sciences, which aims to provide a space for the development of work with students who have recently entered the undergraduate course, assuming that they are studying in parallel other subjects normally offered in the first stage of the course.
