The main objective of this book is to provide an introductory guidance in Aeronautical Sciences for students and other researchers interested in this area. Some important facts for the understanding of Aeronautical Sciences are presented, including historical data and elementary notions that involve flight in the Earth's atmosphere. Thus, it is expected that the reader can understand the main bases that are objects of studies in Aeronautical Sciences for further deepening through classes or through other specialized literature.
