Reviews

From the reviews of the second edition: This book essentially contains an introductory probability course, designed for engineering students or for anyone who wants to learn probability without investing too much effort into its theoretical foundations. Also the book contains many classical and new examples. At the end of each chapter there is a list of exercises the solutions to most of them are given at the end of the book. (Serguet Popov, Mathematical Reviews, Issue 2011 a)
