Since then he has worked as a systems administrator or working on an infrastructure for developers in other ways: as a release manager or support engineer. Damian first implemented DIY ZFS storage in 2006 and has been working professionally and personally with this file system. Between 2012 and 2015 he installed and supported storage arrays sold by the SDS company and in 2016 he began supporting ZFS on Ubuntu alongside other products Canonical delivers to its customers.
