Our research in 2016 revealed an urgent need for social skills development in the current education system, with students increasingly lacking these important traits and expressing negative behaviour both within and outwith the classroom setting. We also discovered that the vast majority of teachers are calling for resources to teach these valuable life skills, and that if such a resource existed they would use it at least once per week. Our pilot programme in January 2019 involving 51 schools across the UK and Ireland received overwhelmingly positive results, with 216 reviews and ratings returned and activities averaging 4 out of 5 in terms of simplicity, popularity and effectiveness.
