Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationBruce Williams-Burden is the author of Luminous Base: Stories about Corpsmen and Helicopters, Courage and Sacrifice, published in 2010. As a Navy Hospital Corpsmen, he flew combat helicopter medical evacuations with the Marine Corps in the Vietnam War. He also served as a quick reaction force platoon corpsman on the DaNang Air base. Mr. Williams-Burden was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal for Valor, five Air Medals, and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry while serving with the Marines Since leaving the military he graduated in 1974 from the Northeastern University Physician Assistant Program and is a Chief Physician Assistant in Neurosurgery for the Puget Sound Health Care System, Department of Veterans Affairs.
