Reviews

Praise for the work of Cory Trepanier: Like some of the great figures in polar exploration history, Cory Trepanier combines the courage and adventurousness of an explorer with the exacting skill and powerful creative vision of an artist. -John Geiger, chief executive officer, The Royal Canadian Geographical Society Cory Trepanier's art is stunning. The pieces are absolutely incredible ... It's a wonderful showcase for the beauty of this country. -Marci Ien, Canada AM An artist can encounter tough obstacles when putting brush to canvas. But plein air painter Cory Trepanier's challenges rise to another level altogether. The resulting works are as immediate and breathtaking as nature itself. -Audrey Overstreet, The Spokesman-Review The paintings have a historical feel. Looking at them, one's mind drifts easily to the early artists who documented the unfolding colonial project across Canada's southern reaches.- Galleries West
