Overview

The screenplay of Interstellar is written by Christopher Nolan and his frequent collaborator, Jonathan Nolan. The film stars Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway and Michael Caine, and looks set to surpass the visions of Stanley Kubrick and the technical achievment of Gravity. Christopher Nolan is the award-winning director of, among others, Memento, the Dark Knight Trilogy and Inception. Jonathan Nolan is the creator of the acclaimed tv series Person of Interest. His short story, Memento Mori, was the basis of Memento; he is the co-author, with Christopher Nolan, of The Prestige, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises.
