Currently, Imran serves as a lecturer in Political Science at Varendra University, Bangladesh. A.K.M. Mahmudul Haque is a Professor at the Department of Political Science, University of Rajshahi. He did his PhD at the Institute of Bangladesh Studies, University of Rajshahi where he examined the policies, practices, and challenges of environmental governance of Bangladesh. Haque is a Visiting Scholar at the University of Victoria, Canada. He also attended a PhD Internship Program at the Centre for Asia Pacific Initiatives (CAPI) of the University of Victoria, Canada. His areas of specialization are environmental governance, climate change, sustainable development, and local governance. His key contributions focus on evaluating local government's environmental governance. Haque's dedication to advancing knowledge extends to editorial roles, where he currently serves as the editor of several scientific books published by IGI Global International and CRC Press, Taylor, and Francis Group. Dr. Haque has already carried out a number of research projects funded by different national and international organizations. Dr. Haque published more than 60 scientific papers in various national and international journals. He frequently contributes columns to national dailies in both Bengali and English. He supervised/is supervising the research of thirteen students, including three PhD fellows (already awarded their PhD). He has delivered numerous lectures mainly on environmental governance and sustainable development in about 20 conferences and seminars held at various universities domestically and overseas. S.M. Akram Ullah is a prominent researcher and professor at the University of Rajshahi, specializing in political science with a strong focus on governance, sustainable development, and public policy in Bangladesh. His research portfolio is diverse and extensive, addressing pressing issues such as sustainable water management, environmental governance, human rights, and local government efficacy. His work often provides a comparative lens, analyzing policy and governance structures in Bangladesh within broader regional and global contexts. Dr. Ullah's publications appear in reputable international journals and edited volumes, many of which are indexed in databases like SCOPUS. His recent work explores the role of city governance institutions in water and sanitation management, linking these services to the broader goals of sustainable development. In addition to journal articles, Dr. Ullah has contributed book chapters in international series by publishers such as Springer and Palgrave Macmillan, focusing on sustainable waste management, climate change, and socio-economic impacts on urban environments.
