Author Information

Axel Takacs is an Assistant Professor of Comparative Theology and Interreligious Studies at Seton Hall University and the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Interreligious Studies. Learn more at amotakacs.scholar.st. Christine Gallagher is head of programs and program director for teachers and schools at the Institute for Islamic, Christian, and Jewish Studies (ICJS) in Baltimore, Maryland. She works with educators, schools, and district offices to think about how religion is present in curriculum and student interactions, with the goal of supporting school communities as they work to dismantle religious bias and bigotry. Before coming to ICJS, she was a classroom teacher in Baltimore. Lucinda Mosher is Professor of Interreligious Studies at Hartford International University for Religion and Peace, the senior editor of the Journal of Interreligious Studies, and the rapporteur of Building Bridges Seminar (an international dialogue of Christian and Muslim scholars). An award-winning editor, her teaching, research, and numerous publications address multireligious concerns in conversation with theology, ethics, and the arts.
