At Liverpool, he leads the module International Planning Studies which received the 2014 AESOP Excellence in Teaching Award. Professor David Shaw is Professor of Planning at the University of Liverpool. He has considerable experience of international planning practice having previously worked in Africa, extensively on European spatial planning, and in Asia. Dr. Brian Webb is Senior Lecturer in Spatial Planning at Prifysgol Caerdydd/Cardiff University. He has worked in the field of planning in three countries and engaged in comparative urban and regional planning research across Europe, North America, Japan, and South Korea.
