Yuen, DSW, ACSW, is Professor for the Division of Social Work at California State University in Sacramento. He is widely published in the areas of family health social work practice, disability, grant writing, program planning and evaluation, substance abuse, international social work, and services to refugees and immigrants. He is a member of several editorial boards, including those of the Journal of Social Work in Disability & Rehabilitation and the Journal of Ethnic & Cultural Diversity in Social Work. He has authored and edited many books, including several for The Haworth Press, Inc., such a Family Health Social Work Practice: A Knowledge and Skills Casebook (2003), Family Health Social Work Practice with Children and Family (In-Press), and the upcoming Disability and Social Work Education: Practice and Policy Issues.
