Before joining the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, he was a senior lecturer in the Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies at the Faculty of Business, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received his PhD from the University of Cambridge. His papers have appeared in academic and teaching journals, including Computers & Industrial Engineering, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Shipping and Transport Logistics, Education and Information Technologies, PLoS ONE, and The International Journal of Management Education. Yulan Wang is a full professor in Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies at Faculty of Business, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She has broad research interest in operations and supply chain management, socially responsible and sustainable operations, behavioral operations management and the interface between operations, information systems and marketing.
