At the International Law Association (ILA) he initiated, and is the Chair of, the ILA Committee on International Law and Sea Level Rise. David Freestone is a Visiting Scholar and Professorial Lecturer in Law at the George Washington University Law School and Executive Secretary of the Sargasso Sea Commission. Within the International Law Association (ILA), he is Co-Rapporteur of the Committee on International Law and Sea Level Rise. Jane McAdam is Scientia Professor of Law and Director of the Andrew & Renata Kaldor Centre for International Refugee Law at the University of New South Wales, Australia.
