Alfredo Ilardi graduated with a degree in Law from the University of Rome in 1966. He joined WIPO as an international civil servant having previously worked as an in-house IP lawyers for a major pharmaceutical firm. Michael Blakeney is Herchel Smith Professor and Director of the Intellectual Property Research Institute at Queen Mary and Westfield College, London.
