Overview

This is the first edition of the Official Handbook for the International District Missionary Unit, International Department of Women, Church Of God In Christ, Inc. This Official Handbook was commissioned by Mother Barbara McCoo Lewis, General Supervisor, International Department of Women. It was written by Dr. Noma Roberson, President of the International District Missionary Unit, with assistance from District Missionary contributors. Through prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit, this Official Handbook is written to present the organizational and leadership structure, as well as the function of the International District Missionary Unit. It is important that we understand how the Unit operates and the tools available to build strong district ministries for the 21st century. This Official Handbook was designed as a guide for District Missionaries to become familiar with the district structure, which includes leadership roles and responsibilities. In addition to District Missionaries, we encourage other church leaders to become familiar with the International District Missionary Unit by reading the Official Handbook.
