Salvatore holds a BA and MA degree in law from the University of Roma Tre (2009) and a LL.M. from the Faculty of Law of the University of California, Berkeley (2012). He was later awarded a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Law of the University of Copenhagen (2016). Prior to this appointment as Assistant Professor, he worked as Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Faculty of Law of the University of Copenhagen (2016-2019). He has been Visiting Scholar at Yale Law School (2010-2011), at the International Institute for the Sociology of Law of Oñati (2013), and at the Buffet Centre, Faculty of Political Sciences, Northwestern University, Chicago (2013).
