The triennial meetings of the ICOM Committee for Conservation (ICOM-CC) are widely regarded as the most significant global events in the heritage conservation calendar. At each Congress, the membership of the ICOM-CC are brought together to report and to review current research. The meetings offer the conservation professional a unique opportunity to discover the current status of research and practice across the full range of conservation disciplines at the highest level. ICOM-CC is the largest of the International Committees of ICOM (International Council of Museums) with over 1400 members worldwide from every branch of the museum and conservation profession. Its aims are to promote the conservation, investigation and analysis of culturally and historically significant works and to further the goals of the conservation profession.
