He has published over 345 scientific papers, described more than 200 new species, and is a member of several international academies, including the European and Russian academies of sciences. Dragutin A. Djukic is a Full Professor of microbiology at the Faculty of Agronomy, University of Kragujevac, Serbia, and a member of the Engineering Academy of Serbia.
