Reviews

""While many churches struggle with age segregation, they often reach for pragmatic solutions that lack biblical substance. David Tatum provides a robustly biblical corrective, calling leaders to move beyond mere 'multigenerational' presence to truly intentional intergenerational worship. This is a thoughtful and necessary book."" --Scott Aniol, President, G3 Ministries ""In the ecosystem of corporate worship, many churches (especially Evangelical ones) have become adept at chasing worship fads. In this important work, David Tatum winsomely and convincingly points us to Scripture as he contends for a much-needed awakening of intergenerational worship. His passionate plea for what he calls 'intentional mutuality' (the generations engaging and learning from one another) is no fad. I cannot recommend this book more highly."" --Joseph R. Crider, Dean, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary ""David Tatum's concept of 'intentional mutuality' gets to the heart of his book: Worship that truly blesses all generations requires thoughtful intentionality. Grounded in solid biblical and theological insight, Tatum offers the most practical guide I've seen for engaging all generations in worship--complete with responsive readings and concrete, realistic guidelines for singing, testimonies, confession, communion, and sharing the word. Tatum's book is an excellent primer for worship leaders seeking to become more intentionally intergenerational in outlook and practice."" --Holly Catterton Allen, co-author of Intergenerational Christian Formation: Bringing the Whole Church Together in Ministry, Community, and Worship
