A four-skills programme for adult and young adult learners of American English, ""Integrated English"" is a six-level programme, comprising three separate two-book courses - ""Gateways"", ""Transitions"", and ""Explorations"" - that take the student from beginner to intermediate level. ""Transitions""is a two-level, four-skills course for adult and young adult learners at a low-intermediate level. It can be used as a stand-alone course or as the follow-up to ""Gateways"" as the second part of the ""Integrated English"" programme. It features a topic-based syllabus in which authentic content provides both a context for meaningful language work and a basis for the exploration of interesting, adult topics.
