He has 30 years of experience in the fields of environmental economics and natural resource management, climate change, livelihoods and institutions. Served as a working group member in the preparation of 11th and 12th Plans for the Government of India. He is presently working watershed impacts at scale, inclusive agriculture intensification and Water, Energy and Food Nexus. He has published 12 books and more than 150 research papers in international and national peer reviewed journals. Geoff Syme is an Adjunct Professor of Planning at Edith Cowan University and an Editor in Chief of the Journal of Hydrology. He has spent thirty five years researching and consulting in the area of social and policy aspects of water and natural resource management in Australia, India and elsewhere. He is currently researching ways in which integrated watershed research can be delivered in a manner that provides benefits for decision makers, landholders and the community. A Ph.d in Economics and MBA. Chiranjeevi Tallapragada has experience as policy advisor, teacher, journalist, trainer and engagement manager. She has 8 years of experience in corporate training and development. She conducted training of Trainers in climate adaption at different levels viz., regional and sub-regional in collaboration with GIZ, India. She designed and executed training programmes on Integrated Approach to Watershed Management for the national level executives and local implementing agencies in Afghanistan and India. Her current interests include: Climate adaptation, rural typologies and Agricultural intensification. She has published one book and several papers in international and national journals.
