Overview

The objective of this publication is to provide senior managers and leaders of the nuclear industry with information that supports their efforts to improve safety and to sustain operational excellence by fostering ISiD in the whole nuclear system. It describes the key attributes of ISiD in owner/operating organizations of NPPs and how to effectively manage external interfaces with the regulatory body and with other stakeholders by providing suggestions to identify gaps and to develop specific actions/initiatives for continuous improvement. It also provides good practices from within and outside of the nuclear industry.
