Insta-Journal takes the guesswork out of journaling. Girls can share their innermost thoughts and secrets on colorfully illustrated pages using simple writing prompts, story starters, and easy-to-follow journal pages. They'll interview their best friend and their favorite teacher, write about favorite family traditions and holidays, and share how they can spread positivity to others. Girls will be thrilled to mix journal writing with other creative avenues, such as sketching, doodling, coloring, and more. There's even a fun back-to-school shopping activity that will have girls combining math with picking out their first day of school outfits! In addition, Insta-Journal includes calendar pages and school schedules so girls can keep track of their busy school schedules, plus back-to-school checklists, interest inventories, sports teams notes and more! Insta-Journal was written and designed by M.Z. Andrews. As a mom to two daughters, two sons, and step-mom to two daughters, M.Z. wanted a journal for her own girls that encouraged creativity and a love of writing. M.Z. was a former middle school English teacher and is now a full-time writer of cozy mysteries; most notably she writes The Witch Squad Cozy Mystery Series, a series about a group of young witches starting witch school, navigating friendships, and solving mysteries along the way. As her own twelve-year-old began reading her mystery series, M.Z. realized she wanted to find a way to encourage her to develop her own love of writing. She hoped that by creating a fun and easy to follow journal, she might be able to do just that.
