Overview

'Inspirational Verses' is a collection of poems written from the heart of Sharlene Gibson. When asked why that particular title my answer is because I want my readers to be inspired while reading, the way I was inspired while writing each of these poems. Most of the materials are excerpts and phrases from my Senior Pastor, Bishop Neil C. Ellis, presiding Prelate of the Global United Fellowship and Senior Pastor of Mt. Tabor Church whose preaching and teaching has helped to mold me into the person I am today. Most of them are personal and has helped me through struggles, hard times and has encouraged me to pray, praise and worship God, to persevere and to stand no matter what is happening in my life. Another reason why 'Inspirational Verses' is because not one of these poems are fictional. A number of them periodically might cause you to smile but this is a collection of serious poems. I felt I could inspire an individual more if I print the truth. Happy reading and I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I enjoyed writing it.
