Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationMaria Paola Tenchini is a Researcher of General Linguistics at the Università Cat¬tolica del Sacro Cuore in Brescia, where she teaches courses in General Linguistics and German Linguistics. Her scientific interests focus on the history of linguistics, particularly proto-pragmatics, the semantics of pejoratives, structures and func¬tions of reported speech, and word order in German. Savina Raynaud has been full professor of Philosophy and Theory of Language since 1994 and called by the Università Cattolica del S. Cuore in Milan in 1995. She teaches Semantics and Ontologies and Language Sciences; has been presi¬dent of the Società di Filosofia del Linguaggio (2004-08); has founded a Research Centre in Computational Linguistics (CIRCSE) and a network for the History of Linguistic and Semiotic Thought (CISPELS).
